End of Contract Information

Approximately 3 months before your contract with us is due to expire we will contact you to arrange a date to come and inspect and collect your vehicle.

We will always strive to keep any end of contract charges to a minimum and accept ‘fair wear and tear’ in accordance to the BVRLA guidelines.

As a guide, Parkway Contracts will accept the following items as ‘fair wear and tear’

• Minor stone chips to the bonnet and sides of vehicle
• Surface scratches to paintwork, providing paint is not broken
• Light scuffs and scratches to bumpers
• Stone chips to the windscreen providing the chip has not started to crack

Early Termination

We appreciate that there may be certain circumstances when you would wish to end your contract hire agreement early.

Unlike many contract hire companies, we do not impose very high financial penalties to do so.

We believe that the fairest way to calculate an early termination charge is to look at each vehicle and situation individually.

We will take into consideration the following details:

• Vehicle condition
• Vehicle mileage
• Length of contract still to run

We will then calculate a fair termination charge that is acceptable to both parties.
