Vehicle Maintenance

There are two main types of Contract Hire:

Maintained and Non Maintained.

Please see below for the inclusions and exclusions

Maintained Agreement:

Inclusions

• Provision for subsequent Road Tax for year 2 and 3
• All manufacturer specified lubrication services, including oil changes and air and oil filter replacement at the required mileages. (Includes parts and labour charges)
• Manufacturer’s specified inspection services
• Replacement brake pads, lining materials and components
• Clutch materials and assemblies
• Major and minor engine and transmission units
• Alternators and starter motors
• Windscreen wipers
• Exhaust systems
• Batteries

Non Maintained agreement:

Inclusions

• Accident damage
• Bodywork damage not covered by manufacturer’s warranties
• Damage caused by negligence, abuse or misuse
• Glass including windscreens and headlamps
• Wheel alignment and geometry checks
• Safety inspections, i.e. MOTs
• Oil, air and fluid top ups between services
• Maintenance and repair of non factory or non standard fitted accessories
• Broken ariels
• Fuel
• Kerbing damage
• Damage caused by pollution

For all vehicles that are not covered by a maintenance agreement, all servicing and maintenance will be the sole responsibility of the hirer.

Replacement vehicle cover

For vehicles with a maintenance agreement that have also taken out replacement vehicle cover for accidental and mechanical defects, cover is provided by Enterprise
